Barry is working, with other UB researchers on a major study of men's learning spaces and programs in Australia, including mens' sheds. It is due for completion in June 2006.

Barry and Mike Brown are also undertaking a Survey of Victorian Men's Sheds in 2006 as part of the ACFE-funded research into men's learning in community contexts.
Other projects- with details soon to be posted - include a major School to Tertiary Participation project (for DEET) and an 'Encouraging Men's Learning Research Circle' (for ACFE) coordinated through CEACA in Alexandra, Victoria.
